Most of the Asia terminals operation are close to normal with average times up to 1 day except for Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao and Singapore.

Korea

  • Pusan:  
    PNIT berth waiting time is 1 to 2 days due to vessel bunching.

China

  • Ningbo:
    NBTCT/NBSCT/YZCT terminals waiting time is 1 to 2.5 days due to intermittent port closure from bad weather
  • Qingdao:
    Average berth waiting time is 1 to 1.5 days due to port closure, bad weather and vessel bunching.

  • Shanghai:
    Average berth waiting time is 0.5 to 1.5 days due to vessel bunching.

Singapore:

Keeping your cargo planning in mind, please find below the list of locations that are included in the new measure. This list displays the number of days for empty container pick up before the vessel FCL cut-off time at the origin port.

  • Days of export empty container open for pickup include the FCL cut-off day. E.g. FCL cut-off time March 28 2023, Empty release will be open from March 22, 2023. FCL cut-off time can be found in the booking confirmation.

There's an update on our booking cancellation process in effect from March 1, 2023 

  1. Effective date based on booking cancellation request date
  2. QQ Spot (QQS)Booking Cancellation fee rule remains unchanged.
  3. Quick Quote (QQ) Booking cancellation fee applicable to every container cancelled or no-show within a confirmed shipment at any time.
  4. Other booking rather than QQS and QQ, Booking Cancellation fee applicable to every container cancelled or no-show within a confirmed shipment for cancellation request after CY cut off
  5. The booking cancellation fee amount remains unchanged based on the product. You can get all relevant details here

Here's an update on the booking cancellation and empty pick up policy with effect from April 1, 2023.

Booking cancellation fee policy

  1. Effective date based on booking cancellation request date.

  2. Quick Quotes Spot Booking Cancellation fee rule remains unchanged.

  3. Quick Quotes Booking cancellation fee is applicable to bookings cancelled within 7 calendar days before the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel destined to all trades

  4. For other bookings, not Quick Quotes Spot or Quick Quotes, the Booking Cancellation fee is applicable to bookings cancelled within 7 calendar days before the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel destined to all trades.

  5. Booking cancellation fee amount remains unchanged based on the product, please refer to our tariff for more details.

If you are shipping from Pearl River Delta (PRD) or Yangtze River Delta (YRD), please note the following:

  • The calculation rule is based on the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel in the booking confirmation.
  • The Booking Cancellation Fee (FIO) is not applicable if there is a change of feeder vessel schedule. The policy remains unchanged for mainline vessels' schedules. (Excluding Quick Quotes Spot booking)
  • The booking cancellation fee amount and general conditions remains unchanged based on the product, please refer to our tariff for more details.

From May 1, 2023, there will be an adjustment to the booking window.
Please refer to the specific booking periods outlined in the linked documentws below, counted in days and subject to the general terms and conditions.

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. The booking window is based on the timeline stated in the following tables for main services ( Table 1) and feeder services ( Table 2).
  2. The booking window calculation is according to the date when the booking was received until the vessel's departure from the port. 
  3. Bookings received from the effective date should follow the booking window logic.
  4. Bookings outside the booking window will regretfully be cancelled.
