Hapag-Lloyd Foundation

The Hapag-Lloyd Foundation was established in 1997 to mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of Hapag-Lloyd.
It promotes cultural, social and scientific projects, with a regional focus on Hamburg, the seat of the foundation and the founder.

The Hapag-Lloyd Foundation thus stands for the social responsibility of its founder. In the spirit of good corporate citizenship, Hapag-Lloyd wants to assume social responsibility for the community and commit itself to a vibrant and diverse life in Hamburg.

The foundation's partners are always excellent and future-oriented institutions and organizations that make a significant contribution to ensuring that Hamburg is and remains an attractive city worth living in, characterized by cultural diversity, social interaction and a sophisticated intellectual life.
