  • Suez Canal & Red Sea situation: We will keep you updated on the status of individual vessels and services for Africa on our Live-Ticker. Please ensure bookmarking this article. Please also visit our FAQ for further information.
  • South Africa: from August 5, 2024, all bookings processed on or after this date will automatically have a default container pickup date set as ETD -16.

  • Adverse weather off South Africa, resulting in some vessels taking shelter

  • South Africa: from March 15, 2024, all  freight, local charges' invoices and pickup instructions will be managed via ODeX. From March 18, 2024 the last date for submission of pickup instructions will be 2 working days before vessel arrival - the pickup instructions' request must be submitted via ODeX.

  • For Dangerous Goods Cargo terminal gate acceptance, please submit electronic copies of the Export Hazardous Declarations to upload in the DG bookings
  • For faster BL release at destination, please switch from OBL to SWB if possible. If you should require any assistance, please reach out to your customer service documentation team
